Nitrous Oxide Sedation

Many people tend to avoid going to the dentist because they may feel phobic. We understand that not everyone likes the dentist but here at the Complete Health Dentistry of NEPA, we are determined to make your visit as fearless and comfortable as possible. We are also child friendly so we use nitrous oxide sedation, also known as "laughing gas," to make treatment more comfortable. It helps children with any pain, fear, or anxiety they may feel during their dentist visit. The nitrous oxide is inhaled through a mask over your nose and produces a state of relaxation, your child will still be awake during the procedure. Local anesthetic will be administered in conjunction with nitrous oxide to eliminate pain. Nitrous oxide is designed to make procedures easier for nervous patients and has been effective for many years.
